Safely tucked away in the corner, using the same old cross trainer, I stared longingly into the weights section wishing I had the courage to walk in. It took two years but one day it finally happened. I took a deep breath, blocked out everyone around me and picked up a set of dumbbells.
That was the beginning of what was to become a life-changing journey into fitness. As well as becoming physically stronger, I've noticed so many other changes in myself. My confidence has grown, my relationship with food has improved, I've became focused on performance-based goals rather than aesthetics and I now embrace challenges rather than shy away from them.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come since that day and now I want to help other women do the same. Whether you’re new to the gym, need some motivation or have signed up to an event and need help training, I offer in-person and online personal training to help you achieve your goals.
